Transforming meeting. Places of access and information between the local Church and international migrations

Abstract

The present article also proposes reflexive theological-pastoral responses on the change of context between the people and the local Christian communities, return- ing to the results of a research carried out in 2016 and 2017 in the Italian context, elaborated in the perspective of a pastoral contribution questioning the challeng- es and opportunities of international migration and refugee presence provides to Christian communities, Christians and an entire church. The editing of the research articles, the articles concluding with a debate on pastoral issues, is an approach to migration as an opportunity for a meeting that transforms the actors involved.
