Puebla in the present and topicality of Puebla

Abstract

The present reflection raises the question for the actuality of the Conference of Puebla. Forty years later, in a context marked by significant global and local changes, what has remained of the teachings of the Third Conference? The answer leads to the center of the hermeneutic problematic: the necessary relation between the objectivity of a text of the past and the present reality. The look on present reality with its questions and the look at the normativity of the text of the local magisterium specify the question and allow to bring to light the current elements of Puebla.
