Abstract
Addressing the topics of unity and ecumenical dialogue in the Roman Catholic Apostolic Church, it is almost impossible to underestimate the impact of the decree Unitatis Redintegratio in its life in the latest decades. It is clear that the ecclesial relations during the last five decades in terms of the ecumenical itinerary have proven to be a dynamic work, marked by both bright steps as well as milestones of setbacks. The proclamation of the document Unitatis Redintegratio at the Second Vatican Council has catalyzed numerous efforts in the field of ecumenism, which have made and continue to leave indelible marks on the Church and on her relations with other Churches and non-Christian religions. The Council's declaration Nostra Aetate stands out regarding the Church's dialogical relationship with non-Christian religions.
