Los Documentos de Medellín. Análisis literario de un texto teológico-profético

Abstract

The article aims to make a literary analysis of the Conclusions of Medellín presenting the understanding of the Latin American reality that had the bishops present at that Conference. In order to meet this objective, the author examines the descriptive aspects present in the Conclusions and, from there, the article presents the Latin American reality interpretation performed by the bishops. Finally, the author shows that the bishops present at the Medellín Conference desire a church committed to the people and servant in the process of transformation through which Latin America passed.
